School Catch up

Not all children learn at the same pace, and not all children enter school at the same time!

In the Uk, we have a 12-month cut-off, which means some children start school at 5 years old with others (August babies) having to start at the tender age of 4, and if you include pre-school at only 3 years old!

It is well documented that this is a very young age, and the majority of children born during late July and August, do tend to struggle a little in school and normally fall behind their peers. This is not through any fault of their own.

Couple that with these rather unprecedented times where many school-age children have simply lost out on a year's education means that there are many 10-year-olds, needing to transition to secondary school, that have many gaps within their basic education which will hinder their educational journey.
